Participants will:
- assess the biological rationale and the current clinical utility of pharmacological targeting of cancer angiogenesis, cell signal transduction, hypoxia and genetic alterations to increase the therapeutic ratio.
- assess the real and potential value of strategies that combine biological targeting with radiation therapy.
- identify the indications for and benefits and limitations to functional and molecular imaging techniques for biological target volumes.
- review principles of image guided radiation therapy and adaptation.
