Conference Themes
Both posters and podium presentations should reflect this year’s conference themes “Inquire, inspire and innovate” reflecting the importance of using up-to-date evidence to inform and stimulate current clinical practice.
Submission Categories for abstracts are:
Advances in Technology in Radiation
Therapy
Clinical practice innovations (including supportive care)
Novel educational initiatives (student, patient or peer)
Types of Presentations Podium Presentations:
Podium presentations summarize original research. Both quantitative and qualitative research designs are acceptable. Please submit only completed research, not research that is in progress. NOTE: Podium presentations are allotted 15 minutes each: 12 min presentation and 3 min questions. NOTE: There are a limited number of slots for podium presentations, please indicate if you would be willing to do a poster if necessary.
Poster Presentations presentations provide the opportunity to present research, programs or innovative processes. Posters will be available for viewing throughout the conference.
NOTE: Posters will be limited to 40 inches x 40 inches in size or less due to space restrictions.
All material presented should be original (i.e. not presented in another forum).
Abstract Submission Guidelines:
Abstracts for the podium and poster presentations (300 words maximum, not including format, title, authors or affiliations) should be typed in Arial, 11 point font and include the following headings:
Preferred format (poster, podium or either)
Title
Name of author(s), credentials and institution(s)
Introduction/Background
Methodology
Results
Conclusions
Copy and paste the abstract into the ABSTRACT field (11)
below.
