NEW FOCUS
The conference will also incorporate the Radiation Therapist Research Symposium for the first time. The merging of these two events will provide you with a wider variety of concurrent research presentations in one venue. The 2009 conference will feature a busy half day of preconference workshops on Friday, followed by a full day of plenary speakers and scientific abstracts (podium and posters) on Saturday.

NEW THEMES
The themes this year are “Inquire, inspire and innovate” which reflect the importance of using up-to-date evidence to inform and stimulate current clinical practice. Talks will include IMRT case studies, dealing with change and technology, the uses of MRI in radiation therapy and a look at the patient’s perspective in the treatment journey.
